POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sales Consultant you will assist and engage customers in our showroom, by phone and via email. The role involves providing customers with a positive and knowledgeable vehicle-buying experience, sharing expert knowledge in all aspects of new Ford and Lincoln vehicles, as well as pre-owned vehicles of various makes and models. Your primary focus will be to ensure every customer?s expectations are exceeded, from general inquiries to post-sale questions or concerns, as well as re-engaging past customers with incentives and special offers. You will report to the Sales Managers and work closely with other Sales and finance staff, contributing to our supportive team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- A keen interest in the automotive industry and a drive to learn the unique features and selling points of Ford and Lincoln lineups
- One year (or more) experience in a competitive sales environment is an asset
- Ability to speak, read and write English at both technical and conversational levels
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to understand and discuss benefits, options, and technical information as it relates to purchasing or leasing a vehicle (training will be provided)
- Effective listening and communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise agreements with customers and internal partners
- Self-motivated, cooperative and able to work independently
- Ability to learn software applications and use them on a daily basis to track customer information, deals, current offers etc.
- Ability to effectively use email and other modes of electronic communication
- Valid PEI Drivers License and clean drivers abstract
- Acceptable criminal background check
