About the role
- Our Business Development team is the driving force behind our growth, identifying and engaging potential customers to expand our reach
- As an outbound team, we proactively connect with businesses, sparking interest and creating opportunities for our sales team
- Through strategic prospecting, personalized outreach, and persistence, we open doors to meaningful conversations with key decision-makers
- You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a critical role in fuelling Riverside’s growth
- Your focus will be on researching, identifying, and engaging high-potential leads through outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities, and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations
- You’ll craft compelling messaging, connect through cold calls, and dig into each prospect’s unique needs to uncover potential fit
- You’ll also collaborate with the team to bring fresh ideas and strategies that refine our outbound approach

- Experience with outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and social media
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt your message across different channels
- A self-driven, goal-oriented mindset, always striving to learn and improve
- Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting metrics
- A creative approach to outreach, constantly thinking of new ways to engage potential customers
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for conferences and networking opportunities
