Chief Revenue Officer / Founding CRO — LeX Technologies
LeX Technologies is building enterprise AI architecture designed to make AI-powered research safe, reliable, and defensible for businesses.
Our platform helps organizations eliminate AI hallucination risks, avoid the data security risks of third-party AI tools, lower AI infrastructure costs, and access trusted answers from complex internal knowledge sources.
We are now looking for a Founding Chief Revenue Officer to help turn LeX into a category leader. This is not a traditional sales leadership role. It is a company-building role.
The right person will help define our go-to-market strategy, build our enterprise sales motion, open strategic customer and partner relationships, and create the revenue foundation for a high-growth AI company.
What You Will Lead
You will own the commercial strategy for LeX, including: • Enterprise sales strategy • AI and B2B technology sales • Marketing strategy • Strategic partnerships • Pipeline development • Customer acquisition • Pilot-to-contract conversion • Pricing and packaging • Channel partnerships • Revenue operations • Market positioning with enterprise buyers
You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to turn early traction, pilots, strategic conversations, and market demand into scalable revenue.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a senior revenue leader with proven experience in B2B technology sales and AI sales.
You have sold complex technology products to enterprise customers and understand how to build trust with executives, technical teams, legal teams, operations teams, and strategic partners. You know how to sell AI beyond the hype. You understand enterprise concerns around reliability, data security, accuracy, cost, implementation risk, and business adoption. You can translate technical differentiation into clear commercial value. The right person has experience building pipeline, closing enterprise deals, developing strategic partnerships, and creating revenue in markets where trust, credibility, and timing matter. This is not a role for someone learning B2B technology sales for the first time. We are looking for someone who can help LeX move faster because they already understand how enterprise AI and B2B technology markets work.
You May Be a Fit If You Have
Proven experience in B2B technology sales Direct experience selling AI, enterprise software, SaaS, data, compliance, legal tech, regtech, or complex technical solutions A track record of building revenue from early-stage to scale Experience selling to enterprise or regulated-industry customers Strong executive-level sales and partnership instincts Experience with complex, consultative B2B sales cycles Ability to sell into legal, compliance, operations, energy, government, or enterprise technology environments Strong strategic thinking and hands-on execution ability Comfort working in an early-stage company where speed, ownership, and judgment matter

Compensation This is an equity-based and commission-based founding executive role.
There is no traditional base salary at this stage. The role is designed for a senior revenue leader who is excited by the opportunity to help build the commercial foundation of LeX and participate meaningfully in the company’s long-term upside.
Compensation will include a meaningful equity package and commission structure tied to enterprise revenue, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition.
Location Calgary preferred, but open to exceptional candidates in Canada or North America.
Role Type
Founding executive role.
This is best suited for someone who wants to build, not simply manage. The ideal candidate is excited by early-stage growth, category creation, enterprise AI, and the opportunity to help define the commercial direction of a company from the ground up.
