Role Description The Construction Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in North York, ON. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors, and promoting AK Level And Polish Inc.’s flooring services. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and cold calling, conducting site visits, preparing estimates and proposals, and following up on leads to close sales. The Construction Salesperson collaborates with project and operations teams to ensure accurate scoping of work, realistic timelines, and clear communication with clients. The role also involves monitoring market trends, attending industry events as needed, and maintaining detailed records in CRM or similar systems. Qualifications At least 5 Years Experience in Sales Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing techniques. Construction or flooring industry knowledge, with familiarity in surface preparation, floor leveling, concrete polishing, and epoxy coatings. Customer relationship management skills, including effective communication, negotiation, and client service. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Basic computer proficiency, including CRM tools, email, and spreadsheet software. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site client visits across the Greater Toronto Area. Proven experience in construction sales, trade sales, or a related field is preferred. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines. Comfortable working on-site and in varying construction environments, with a commitment to safety practices. High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, construction management, or a related area is an asset.
