Sales Lead — Hospitality Tech Startup (Equity + Commission, No Salary)

About the role
Hyoshi is a mobile-first app that solves the night-of coordination problem for restaurants, hotels, and event venues. Think: course firing, staff notifications, dietary alerts, and a real-time captain dashboard — all the things that currently run on walkie-talkies and group texts. The app is built and entering testing now. I'm looking for one person to own sales. What you bring: A background inside the industry — restaurant operations, catering, event management, venue sales. You've been in the room when things go wrong on event night and you don't need it explained. An existing network of event managers, F&B directors, or venue operators you can walk in and have a real conversation with. The ability to run demos, close deals, and build relationships without hand-holding. What you get: Minority equity stake, performance-vested against revenue milestones — not a four-year clock. Residual commission on every subscription you bring in, for as long as that account is active. No base salary. This is an equity opportunity, not a job. Who this is for: Someone who looks at a product solving a real problem in an industry they know, sees the opportunity, and wants in early enough to own a piece of it. If that's you, reach out directly. Brian Burke bburke@bytestream-strategies.com
