We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager based in Montreal to manage and grow a portfolio of key global accounts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term partnerships, understands complex manufacturing environments, and excels at identifying opportunities to create value for customers.

Functions: Manage and develop a portfolio of fewer than 10 strategic automotive accounts Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire business relationship Understand customer challenges and work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop tailored solutions Build strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, program management, and operations stakeholders Identify opportunities to increase revenue through new programs, product applications, and customer divisions Prepare and present quotations to customers Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and program requirements Coordinate customer projects from RFQ through production launch Act as the liaison between customers and internal departments including engineering, production, quality, and logistics Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required
Requirements: Development vs Maintenance: 15% vs 85% Road vs Office: 40% vs 60% Languages: French and English (written and spoken) Education: College diploma in mechanical engineering Training: On the job training Overnight Travel: Up to 40% overnight travel required Years of experience: At least 2 years industry experience Other requirements: Strong understanding of value-based selling and consultative sales approaches Transferable contacts: Contacts within the automotive or other manufacturing industry is an asset Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of the injection mold manufacturing process
