As a Packaging Specialist, you'll receive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience while working alongside an experienced sales team to develop your skills and grow your career. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is motivated, curious, and eager to learn. What You'll Do As a Packaging Specialist, you'll be responsible for growing and developing customer relationships within your assigned territory by identifying opportunities and delivering value-added packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities Prospect and identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media. Schedule and conduct face-to-face customer meetings to understand business needs and present packaging solutions. Build strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication and exceptional customer service. Prepare customer quotations, negotiate pricing, and secure profitable business opportunities. Deliver engaging product presentations both in person and virtually. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and follow-up activities. Travel throughout your assigned territory to meet customers, attend training sessions, and participate in industry events. Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and opportunities within the company's CRM and ERP systems. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity updates for management. Collaborate with Outside Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Develop a strong understanding of Crawford Packaging's products, equipment, and value-added solutions. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for building relationships. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field preferred. Packaging, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution experience is considered an asset but is not required. Solution-selling experience is an asset. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service mindset with the ability to actively listen and understand customer needs. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable making cold calls and developing new business opportunities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using CRM and ERP systems is an asset. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. A desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in professional sales.
