Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Prince George, BC. The Sales Representative will generate new business by identifying prospective clients, scheduling meetings, and conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations to engineering and architecture firms. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their project management needs, and recommending Stackd solutions that align with their operations.
The representative will manage the sales cycle from initial outreach through closing, provide responsive customer service, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Ongoing responsibilities include tracking sales activities, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and providing market feedback to support product and strategy improvements.
Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation Identify and engage prospective engineering and architecture firms through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels. Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a healthy sales pipeline. Research target firms, key decision-makers, and industry trends to uncover new opportunities.
Sales Development Schedule and conduct qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations. Execute outbound campaigns and follow up consistently with prospects. Develop relationships with potential customers by understanding their workflows, challenges, and business goals.
Customer Engagement Clearly communicate Stackd's value proposition and how it helps engineering and architecture firms streamline operations. Collaborate with marketing on lead generation initiatives, events, webinars, and campaigns. Gather customer feedback and market insights to help shape future sales and product strategies.
CRM & Performance Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in HubSpot. Track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and key sales metrics.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine curiosity to understand customer needs. Experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred), and Microsoft tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Nice to Have Previous experience in SaaS or B2B sales. Familiarity with engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services industries. Experience with outbound prospecting and social selling. A desire to help build and grow a company from the ground up.
Compensation: Base salary of $65,000–$80,000 per year, plus a competitive commission plan based on sales performance.
