Role Description This full-time, remote Insurance Broker role (100% commission role) involves advising clients on personal and commercial insurance products, assessing risk profiles, and recommending tailored coverage solutions. The Insurance Broker will manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, process quotes, and facilitate policy changes and renewals. The role includes collaborating with insurers to obtain competitive terms, analyzing policy options, and ensuring clients understand coverage, exclusions, and obligations. The Insurance Broker will also support clients with long-term planning needs, such as retirement and financial protection strategies, while maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ongoing professional development, participation in team meetings, and contribution to brokerage growth initiatives are expected. Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with experience in advising on coverage options and risk management. Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients with long-term financial and protection strategies. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including relationship management, clear communication, and timely follow-up. Relevant provincial insurance licenses (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain them within a defined timeframe. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Comfort working remotely with reliable technology, and the ability to manage a structured schedule independently. Prior experience in an insurance brokerage or financial services environment is an asset. Post-secondary education in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
