Advanced Material Handling is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth throughout Quebec. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established leader in the material handling industry while developing new customer relationships and expanding our presence within the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer relationships, and identifying opportunities for replacement conveyor chains, sprockets, conveyor components, and turnkey conveyor systems. This is a highly customer-focused role requiring a motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, relationship building, and closing new business.

Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities throughout Quebec by prospecting, networking, cold calling, and following up on leads. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, consultants, and key industry contacts. Identify opportunities for conveyor chains, sprockets, replacement components, and complete conveyor systems. Prepare detailed Request for Quotations (RFQs) and collaborate with engineering and estimating teams. Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts. Manage customer activities and opportunities using Salesforce CRM. Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions. Provide technical solutions that meet customer operational requirements. Negotiate pricing and successfully close sales opportunities. Prepare regular sales activity reports for management. Travel throughout Quebec approximately 75% of the time, including overnight travel as required.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of successful outside sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, material handling, power transmission, conveyor systems, or related industries. Experience selling conveyor chain, industrial chain, or similar mechanical products is highly preferred. Existing relationships within Quebec's industrial market are considered a strong asset. Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer accounts. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar software. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Valid driver's license. Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written) is required.
