Business Development Manager This is an on-site position based out of Earth Drilling’s office in Calgary, Alberta. Regular travel, including international travel, is required. Work schedule: Monday to Friday with regular after-hours support required.

Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will drive new business for the Company’s Canadian Drilling Services. In addition, the incumbent will support marketing and social media initiatives and complete various projects.
Duties and Responsibilities: Actively develop opportunities and relationships with potential Canadian clients; identify opportunities ahead of the competition. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all prospects, opportunities, and client interactions in the company, and deliver regular pipeline and forecast reporting to management. Promote and sell the Company’s drilling solutions online, at industry events, and via cold calling. Represent the Company at trade shows, industry events, and client visits. Help prepare and present compelling commercial and technical proposals. Rigorously follow up on quotes and support negotiations through to signing. Help maintain and grow relationships with existing clients. Work closely with various internal teams to prepare materials and to support quotes. Continuously research the market, including competitors, trends, and upcoming projects. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Previous sales experience in drilling, mining, or construction is required. 5+ years of previous, relevant work experience is required. Candidate must be a self-starter, capable or driving results with a high degree of autonomy. Candidate must possess a successful track record of prospecting and B2B sales. Extensive experience and capabilities with MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Teams, and MS Excel is required. Demonstrated proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar) for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity reporting. Key personal attributes include: -Strong attention to detail and record accuracy -Strong organizational abilities -Effective communicator and problem-solver -Reliable and able to prioritize competing demands -Adaptable and able to work independently and in team settings -Proactive and results-driven, with a focus on supporting production readiness
