We are currently hiring a Full-Time 12 Month Contract Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator to support our Operations team. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.

The Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator is an important contributor to the execution of Libro’s brand strategy, providing essential support across various functions within the Operations department, and the Marketing team. This role is heavily involved in day-to-day execution of graphic design tasks, branch and community activation, and liaising cross-departments to fulfill Marketing Team requests.

The Role

Oversee and manage all incoming Marketing Team inbox requests Liaise with branches and departments to assess needs, complete tasks, and proactively suggest process improvements to increase productivity Utilize sound judgment in prioritizing and assigning tasks, ensuring that requests align with strategic objectives and are handled efficiently. Provide administrative support to the Director, Marketing including meeting organization, room setup, and presentation material formatting (related to below Graphic Design Support & Execution). Offer back-up support to the Marketing Manager and Brand Designer when out of office Take ownership of day-to-day graphic design tasks, including updates, resizing, and the use of templates for branch execution, social media, and digital platforms, ensuring timely delivery to maintain speed to market. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and contribute to a cohesive brand image, Diversity & Inclusion goals, and consult with the Brand Designer for guidance when necessary. Apply judgement when monitoring content and social media to ensure alignment. Coordinate Marketing-led tradeshows and event execution and support branches with seminars and events (ex. Farm Show bookings), including customizing/adapting promotional materials using existing templates for sponsor ads, digital screens, handouts, as needed. Collaborate with Brand Specialists to execute campaigns and projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, this may include coordination with printing vendors. Support the Brand Marketing team with internal communications, including campaign guides, social media content, and updates to libro.ca and Spark. Organizing and maintaining a library of design assets (images, icons, videos) for easy retrieval and consistency across projects. Ensure tagging and proper file naming conventions, folder structures, and version and access control. Oversee the ordering and management of specialty items, clothing and stationery, ensuring these items are on-brand, aligned with organizational values, and within budget soliciting feedback from Marketing, Purpose and Community teams. Administer and maintain inventory levels. Review sales orders quarterly and annually and refresh offering accordingly, ex. Business cards, letterhead, deposit books. Be the key contact and relationship manager for vendor, observing and guiding as needed.

What We’re Looking For

A college diploma or university degree with a focus in the area of marketing, public relations, corporate social responsibility, community investment, business administration or project management. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with 1-2 years' experience in marketing environment as asset. Strong knowledge of personal computer applications with the ability to work at an intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity with software like Sketch, Figma, or Canva for web design or simpler graphics.
