About the role
Job Description:
General Manager – MENA
Role overview
Premier Construction Software is the #1 cloud ERP and construction accounting platform, serving contractors, owners, and developers with AI‑powered financial and project management tools. The General Manager – MENA will own the regional go‑to‑market, operations, and P&L to scale Premier’s presence across the Middle East, driving new ARR, expansion revenue, and strategic partnerships with contractors, owners, and ecosystem partners. This leader will build and lead the in‑region team, establish repeatable commercial and delivery motions, and ensure Premier becomes the preferred AI‑powered construction ERP for mid‑market and enterprise customers in priority MENA markets.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end business for the MENA region, including revenue, pipeline, customer retention, and regional P&L, with clear accountability for ARR growth and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute the regional go‑to‑market strategy (direct sales, channel, and strategic accounts) across key MENA markets, prioritizing segments with the highest revenue potential and strategic fit.
- Build, lead, and coach a high‑performing regional team across sales, channel/partners, pre‑sales, and customer success, ensuring clear territories, quotas, operating rhythms, and performance standards.
- Partner with global Marketing to localize demand generation, events, and campaigns that consistently produce qualified pipeline for target ICPs (general contractors, developers, owners, and specialty contractors).
- Establish and scale a partner ecosystem (resellers, implementation partners, consulting firms, and strategic alliances) to extend Premier’s reach and accelerate implementation capacity across the region.
- Drive rigorous sales execution: forecast accurately, manage pipeline health, improve win rates and deal velocity, and ensure disciplined opportunity management in CRM.
- Serve as the senior executive interface for key customers and prospects, leading executive‑level conversations with CFOs, CEOs, owners, and project leadership to position Premier’s value and AI‑driven roadmap.
- Ensure delivery excellence and customer success by collaborating closely with global Professional Services and Customer Success to meet deployment timelines, adoption targets, and expansion opportunities.
- Provide structured, data‑driven feedback from the region to Product, Marketing, and Revenue Operations on competitive dynamics, pricing expectations, localization requirements, and product gaps.
- Champion a metrics‑driven operating model for the region, leveraging dashboards and KPIs across pipeline, bookings, churn, NRR, implementation timelines, and partner performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, commercial practices, and contractual norms, working with Finance and Legal to structure scalable, low‑risk commercial frameworks in each priority market.
- Represent Premier at industry conferences, associations, and ecosystem events across MENA to elevate brand awareness, strengthen relationships, and position the company as a thought leader in construction tech and AI‑powered ERP.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or enterprise software with at least 4+ years in a general management, regional leadership, or country manager role owning revenue and P&L in MENA.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing commercial organizations (sales, partners, customer success) in the Middle East and North Africa, ideally selling into construction, real estate, ERP, or financial software markets.
- Demonstrated success driving complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise deals with C‑level buyers, including experience with long sales cycles, competitive RFPs, and multi‑country deployments.
- Strong understanding of MENA market dynamics, including regulatory environments, contracting norms, procurement models, and the role of local partners in enterprise technology adoption.
- Experience building and managing partner ecosystems (VARs, SIs, consulting partners) and structuring joint go‑to‑market and co‑selling motions that drive material revenue.
- Data‑driven leadership mindset with the ability to interpret and act on pipeline, forecast, and customer health metrics; comfortable operating in a KPI‑centric environment with high standards for execution discipline.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire teams, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and represent Premier credibly with executive‑level customer and partner audiences.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent business education is an asset.
