Eco Detection™ is transforming environmental analysis through rapid, near real-time chemistry and environmental monitoring. As demand for faster, cleaner, and more cost‑effective analytical technologies grows, we are scaling rapidly across key mining and environmental markets.
This role combines market leadership, partner development and hands‑on deal execution, with responsibility for driving adoption, building commercial partnerships and shaping go‑to‑market strategy across the Americas. This is a high-impact role well-suited for someone who thrives in fast-moving, innovation-driven environments and is motivated to introduce truly disruptive technology to the global mining industry.
Ability and willingness to travel 30%.
Responsibilities Develop & implement sales plans ensuring margins are obtained. Adhere to budget, forecasting and reporting requirements. Identify and build strategic relationships with key accounts according to sales plan. Work with the team to develop new leads and sales pipelines to drive revenue and exceed sales targets Employ a consultative sales practice, developing strategic client relationships to increase the analytical commercial and onsite lab business while maximizing profit in accordance with commercial strategy while maintaining opportunity across the business. Work with sales and operations teams across the business to collectively drive revenue and adjust business development plans on a continuous basis Working with the commercial team, assisting in the preparation of tenders and ensuring procurement registrations, documentation, and relationships are current Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and attend all sales meetings as requested Monitor & report on market, competitor & regional market activity & pricing on an ongoing basis. Actively create workshops, webinars, reference & referral clients & other marketing initiatives including speaking opportunities. Ability to work independently and to maintain communication in an entrepreneurial, geographically dispersed corporate setting
Qualifications Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position Science, business or related degree, MBA preferable 5+ Environmental Sales experience
Knowledge and Skills: Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills Thorough knowledge of environmental analytical methods and instrumentation, & environmental market including competition Possess drive & initiative to develop revenue opportunities & brand recognition Strong negotiation skills, sales competency, and business acumen Thorough knowledge of environmental landscape & related products and services Fluent in English, and preference for fluency in French, & Spanish. Valid driver’s license
