VP OF PERSONAL TRAINING (FOUNDER-LEVEL – NEW VERTICAL) Location: Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary | Full-Time | Leadership + Profit Share Overview Rumble operates a multi-brand and multi-location fitness platform with established verticals in group fitness, recovery, and reformer-based training. Personal training is a meaningful revenue stream with strong demand and an established client base. However, it is currently: Trainer-dependent Inconsistent across locations Lacking a defined system and standardized experience Underperforming in client retention We are hiring a founder-level leader to take full ownership of personal training and build it into a system-driven, scalable vertical within the Rumble ecosystem. Mandate This role is responsible for building personal training into a recognized product and brand, with the same level of structure, consistency, and scalability as our other verticals. You will: Define the training methodology and product structure Build a standardized, repeatable system across all locations Develop and scale a coaching team and training infrastructure Own revenue, retention, and performance at a multi-million dollar level Establish a clear identity for Rumble Personal Training Scope of Ownership
- Product & Methodology Define the Rumble personal training method (structure, progression, standards) Build a clear, repeatable client journey Ensure consistency across all locations
- Systems & Standardization Design and implement systems for: onboarding programming structure delivery standards performance tracking Eliminate variability between trainers Build processes that scale across multiple locations
- Coach Development & Training Infrastructure Recruit, onboard, and develop a pipeline of coaches Build certification, evaluation, and progression systems Establish a training and development function similar to educator roles in group fitness
- Business Performance & Revenue Ownership Own personal training revenue across all locations Accountable for $5M+ annual PT revenue performance Drive: client retention and lifetime value consult-to-close rates revenue per trainer Implement reporting systems and enforce accountability
- Brand & Vertical Development Build personal training into a distinct, system-based vertical Contribute to positioning, messaging, and experience design Develop a model that can scale across existing and future locations Required Experience Experience Level 8–15 years in personal training, coaching, or performance-based fitness Minimum 8+ years in leadership roles managing trainers or coaching teams Experience in multi-location or multi-team environments strongly preferred Revenue Accountability Proven experience being accountable for: $3M–$5M+ annual revenue, OR Leading a division, region, or business unit at a comparable scale Strong understanding of: sales performance retention metrics unit economics of personal training Systems & Scaling Experience Demonstrated ability to: build or implement scalable coaching systems standardize delivery across multiple trainers or locations improve performance through structure and accountability Experience creating: training frameworks onboarding systems performance management processes Core Competencies Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to think like an owner and build a business within a business Operator discipline: strong organizational skills, systems thinking, and execution Leadership capability: ability to develop people and enforce standards Commercial acumen: understands revenue drivers, retention, and growth levers Scalability focus: builds processes that work beyond individuals Profile Fit This role is best suited for someone who: Is comfortable owning both product development and business performance Wants to step into a founder-level role with real ownership and accountability Has outgrown being a top individual trainer Has a strong builder mindset and wants to create something at scale What This Role Is Not Not a personal training role with a client roster Not a senior trainer or “head coach” position Not a maintenance or administrative role This is a build + operate + scale role with full ownership of a business vertical Compensation Structure Base Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 CAD Performance Bonus: tied to revenue growth, retention, and system performance Profit Share / Equity: structured based on performance and scope Opportunity You will be building: A new vertical within an established multi-location brand A standardized system that defines personal training across the company A scalable product with direct impact on multi-million dollar revenue This is a founder-level opportunity within an operating business, with real ownership and upside.
