Job Title: Mid-Level Donor Advisor (Canada) Department: Constituency Relations (CORE) Team (Canada) Reports To: Donor Relations Director (Canada) Status: Full-Time, Salaried Location: Hybrid, 2 days in-office – Burlington, ON Salary Level: K $70,000 - $79,000 CAD Last Updated: May 22, 2026 PURPOSE: The Mid-Level Donor Advisoris responsible for cultivating, strengthening, and sustaining meaningful relationships with a portfolio of mid-level donors (annual giving between $1,000–$5,000). Through the development and execution of a strategic engagement and communication plan, this role supports annual goals related to donor cultivation, solicitation, retention, and revenue growth. This position is foundational for developing the relational, analytical, and planning competencies required for Major Gifts and Planned Giving roles and reports directly to the Donor Relations Director. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Donor Relationship Management Manage and steward a designated portfolio of donors, ensuring consistent, meaningful communication aligned with a defined stewardship strategy Build and strengthen one-to-one relationships with donors most responsive to personalized engagement to increase giving and advance movement within the donor pipeline Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, next steps, and engagement history within the CRM system Donor Strategy & Engagement Develop and implement individualized annual donor engagement plans, including cultivation activities, solicitation timelines, stewardship actions, and follow-up strategies Segment donors based on interests, preferences, and giving behavior to provide tailored communications such as reports, newsletters, and ministry updates Utilize donor data and insights to prioritize outreach, identify upgrade opportunities, and track donor progression Collaboration & Pipeline Development Partner with the Planned Giving Manager to identify and refer donors with potential for legacy giving Identify opportunities to involve senior leaders, board members, and Major Gifts staff in donor engagement efforts Coordinate and host donor cultivation events in collaboration with internal teams, particularly during field staff connection tours Technology & Reporting Effectively use CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to document engagement and support reporting needs Leverage approved AI-enabled tools to enhance donor research, personalize communications, and improve planning and documentation, in accordance with data privacy standards Contribute to continuous improvement by collaborating with team members to refine best practices, including the responsible use of technology Organizational Representation & Learning Maintain strong knowledge of World Renew programs and proactively align donor interests with ministry opportunities Represent World Renew professionally and consistently, reflecting organizational values in all communications Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI targets related to cultivation, solicitation, retention, and revenue Other Duties Perform other responsibilities as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED: Able to respect and support the mission, vision and values of World Renew. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) Comfort and proficiency with digital and AI-enabled tools, with a willingness to adapt as technologies evolve Strong team orientation with flexibility and adaptability Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding donor information EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising or a related field LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills Thorough knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and professional business writing WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL AND OTHER DEMANDS: The work environment encountered and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
