The Mortgage Agent will consult with clients to understand their financial goals, assess eligibility, and recommend suitable mortgage products. Responsibilities include guiding clients through applications, collecting and reviewing documentation, and coordinating with lenders and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely approvals. The role involves monitoring market trends, explaining mortgage terms and conditions clearly, and maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the process. The Mortgage Agent will also support business development by nurturing leads, contributing to mortgage marketing initiatives, and upholding strong compliance and ethical standards. Qualifications Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements. Experience with mortgage lending and mortgage servicing, including documentation, underwriting support, and closing processes. Hands-on experience working with mortgages and related products, with the ability to match offerings to client needs. Understanding of mortgage marketing strategies and ability to support client acquisition and retention efforts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and ethical practices. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple client files, and meet deadlines. Previous experience in mortgage brokerage, banking, or financial services is preferred. Relevant licensing or certification as a Mortgage Agent, in accordance with local regulations.
