CPCI Technical & Regional Development Lead – Eastern Canada Home-Based (Montréal, Québec)

Job Position We are searching for a person to join our dynamic team and step into the position of: Technical & Regional Development Lead – Eastern Canada

This is a home office–based position in Québec, preferably in the Montréal area, with some travel throughout Eastern Canada. You will provide technical leadership and business development support to CPCI members while coordinating activities for CPCI's Québec and Atlantic regional chapters. You will also collaborate with colleagues on national technical, education, communications, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities As the Technical & Regional Development Lead, you will: · Serve as the primary technical and regional business development resource for CPCI members, designers, owners, and industry stakeholders. · Organize and facilitate meetings for the Québec and Atlantic regional chapters. · Deliver technical presentations and Lunch & Learn seminars to architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and other members of the AEC community. · Represent CPCI at industry meetings, conferences, trade shows, and networking events. · Act as a spokesperson and advocate for the Canadian precast concrete industry. · Promote the benefits of precast concrete and expand market awareness throughout Eastern Canada. · Support the activities of CPCI's four national standing committees. · Collaborate with staff to research, write, review, and edit technical manuals, guides, and other industry publications. · Contribute to national initiatives related to technical services, education, communications, sustainability, and market development.

What we’re looking for: The ideal candidate will have: · Professional designation as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), Architect, or Architectural Technologist, or be eligible for registration. · A minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following: Precast concrete manufacturing Structural or architectural design Business development Sales or marketing within the precast concrete or broader construction industry · Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with industry professionals. · The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a national team. · Experience working with not-for-profit associations, committees, or boards is considered an asset. · Fluency in both French and English, with French as the primary working language.
