Role Description Account Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB. In this role, the Account Manager manages a portfolio of customers, builds and maintains long-term relationships, and identifies opportunities to grow sales across fasteners, tools, safety gear, and related products. Typical day-to-day activities include conducting customer meetings and calls, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, product availability, and timely delivery. The Account Manager monitors account performance, resolves service issues, and provides product guidance tailored to the needs of construction, oil and gas, government, and heavy industry clients. This role also involves prospecting new accounts, participating in sales planning, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product lines and industry trends. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in account management, customer service, and relationship-building with industrial or commercial clients. Experience in sales, business development, or related roles, ideally within construction supplies, industrial products, or distribution environments. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical product information in clear, practical terms. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple accounts, tracking activities, and following through on commitments. Comfort with using CRM systems, order entry software, and common office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and reporting tools). Knowledge of fasteners, tools, safety products, or industrial supplies is an asset; willingness to learn product details and applications is essential. Ability to work on-site in Calgary, AB, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace. Relevant education in business, marketing, or a technical/industrial field is an asset; equivalent experience in a similar role will be considered.
