The Opportunity The Ottawa Senators are seeking an energetic, partner-focused professional to join us as an Account Manager, Ticket Sales & Service. This is an excellent opportunity to join an NHL franchise in a client facing position which will allow the candidate to become fully engaged in the business of a major league sports team.
The Account Manager with Capital Sports & Entertainment is an outbound account manager responsible for generating revenue through the sale of all ticketing and premium products (suites, season ticket packages and group sales) within the guidelines and standards determined by VP Ticket Sales & Service.

Key Responsibilities Represent the Ottawa Senators in a professional manner within the Gatineau and surrounding business communities. Responsible for the sale of season ticket packages, premium hospitality, and group/suite outings. Initiate high volume of outbound phone activity, establish working relationships, and drive prospecting through: Local businesses and associations Former season seat and suite clients Current customers (upgrade sales & referrals) Your professional network within the Ottawa-Gatineau community. Record all activity and sales pipeline details in the CRM system Provide fans and customers with outstanding service in a timely and efficient manner. Contribute to the sales team atmosphere in a positive manner by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all sales team members. Game night responsibilities include client hosting, networking, and attending sales kiosks to direct client inquiries. Participate and contribute to weekly sales team meetings and training sessions. Other duties as assigned by the VP Ticket Sales & Service.
Qualifications & Experience Minimum two years of experience in an outbound prospecting and lead generation role Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets on an annual basis Ability to cross-functionally train across product line and business units. Experience in leading client diagnostic meetings and delivering client proposals to drive revenue. Driven by results and excelling in a competitive environment while also contributing to a team-based atmosphere. Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral) Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports Able and willing to work extended hours (nights, weekends, and holidays) Bilingualism is an asset (English & French) Valid driver’s license and access to your own transportation Knowledge of Sales Force, MS Office, LinkedIn, and other forms of digital media considered an asset. Knowledge and a contact base within the Ottawa-Gatineau business community is considered an asset.

This role falls within a base salary range of $39,500.00 - $60,500.00 annually, consistent with the organization’s established salary ranges. Salary ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to market data, internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skillset.
