Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Groups Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of group travel and group experiences at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. This role plays a critical part in delivering seamless, high-quality group stays while supporting revenue growth and long-term group relationships. The Group Sales Manager- Corporate & Association is responsible for driving direct group business for Revelstoke Mountain Resort and its associated properties, including The Sutton Place Hotel and Cabot Revelstoke Mountain Lodge. This role focuses on sourcing, developing, and closing corporate, government, and association business within British Columbia and Alberta. This is a proactive, revenue-focused sales role responsible for building a strong pipeline of new business while growing key accounts. Success in this role is driven by consistent prospecting, relationship building, and converting opportunities into confirmed group bookings. Key activities include: Direct sales calls and in-market client visits Prospecting and account development Hosting site tours and FAM trips Representing the resort at industry events and trade shows You will play a key role in executing the resort’s sales strategy, building strong relationships with decision makers, and positioning Revelstoke as a premier destination for group travel. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff and execution of booked business while maximizing overall group value and guest experience. This position is remote-based within British Columbia or Alberta, with regular travel throughout the region and periodic visits to the resort for client hosting and internal collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Market Development & Business Growth Proactively identify, target, and secure new group business within: Corporate markets Associations Regional organizations and professional groups Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on British Columbia and Alberta markets. Conduct regular in-market sales calls, client meetings, and networking activities. Build a strong presence within key feeder markets to grow brand awareness and market share. Management & Revenue Generation Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified group leads. Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies tailored to client needs. Negotiate contracts and close business alignment with revenue goals and resort strategy. Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets and booking goals. Maintain accurate tracking of all sales activities and opportunities within CRM systems. Client Relationship & Account Growth Build and maintain strong relationships with: Corporate planners Association decision-makers Local and regional business networks Conduct site inspections and host prospective clients at the resort. Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Collaboration Collaborate with the Catering & Sales Manager to ensure seamless transition from confirmed booking to event planning and execution. Work closely with: Guest Experience team (room blocks, itineraries, pre-arrival planning) Revenue Management (pricing, availability, and group strategy) Marketing (campaigns, sales materials, and promotions) Market Insights & Strategy Stay informed on regional market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to support overall sales strategy and positioning. WORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS This role operates in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with high levels of interaction with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Regular travel within British Columbia and Alberta is required, along with periodic visits to the resort. The position may involve extended workdays and occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs, events, and travel schedules. Qualifications & Skills

3–5+ years of experience in group sales, hospitality sales, tourism, or business development Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities Experience working with corporate, government, association, or group travel markets preferred Strong relationship-building, networking, and account management skills Experience conducting sales calls, site tours, client presentations, and trade show representation Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred Knowledge of the tourism, resort, or ski industry considered an asset Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout British Columbia and Alberta Experience with weddings and/or group events preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.
