Signature Site is a national field services partner for Canada's most recognizable brands. Since 1991, we've delivered signage, lighting & electrical, and building maintenance services to leading brands in retail, petroleum, grocery and more ? keeping their branded environments sharp, safe, and operating across provinces.
The Role
This is not a maintenance sales job. We're not looking for someone to manage an existing book.
We're looking for a hunter ? someone who can open doors at major regional and national brands, construction companies, and property management firms that don't yet know us. You'll own the top of the funnel: identifying targets, building relationships, getting in front of the right decision-makers, and converting interest into our first project, then our first MSA, then our preferred-vendor status.
You'll have the full backing of an established 35-year-old company ? our reputation, our case studies, our national footprint, our technical bench ? but you'll operate with autonomy. If you've ever thought "I could build a book of business if someone just gave me the platform," this is that platform.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue large multi-footprint commercial brands, GCs, and property managers across your region and nationally.
- Build a pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting, industry events, referrals, and creative outreach ? whatever it takes to get the meeting.
- Own relationships from first contact through first project, then hand off operational execution to our service delivery team while staying the strategic point of contact.
- Work cross-functionally with our Strategic Accounts, Service Delivery, and Estimating teams to scope opportunities and win work.
- Represent Signature Site at industry events, trade shows, and client sites ? you're the face of the brand in your market.
- Help shape our go-to-market: which verticals to chase, which value props resonate, where to invest.
- Lead RFPs and proposals for major opportunities.

What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B business development experience, ideally selling into multi-location commercial clients, construction, retail, or facilities (signage, lighting, electrical, GC, or related field services is a strong plus, but not a hard requirement)
- A demonstrated track record of opening new accounts, not just farming existing ones
- Comfort with both short and long sales cycles and the discipline to work it consistently
- Willingness to travel within your region and occasionally nationally
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract and the legal ability to work in Canada

Location
Based in the Greater Toronto Area, Greater Vancouver, or Calgary. Hybrid working arrangement with regular client-facing time in market.
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
