Phaeton Automotive Group is growing, and Richmond Hill Toyota is seeking a high-performing Used Car Sales Manager to join our leadership team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced automotive professional with a proven track record in used vehicle operations, inventory management, team leadership, customer retention, and profitability. What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of progressive automotive sales management experience, preferably within an import dealership environment
- Proven success managing used vehicle inventory, pricing strategy, and gross profitability
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
- Results-driven mindset with a strong understanding of sales processes and performance metrics
- High energy, professionalism, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with vAuto and strong overall technical proficiency
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is considered an asset
- Experience with procurement through actions and other channels
- Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the General Sales Manager and Used Car Director to establish and achieve used vehicle sales and profitability targets
- Appraise trade-ins accurately and competitively based on market trends, vehicle history, and dealership strategy
- Manage used vehicle inventory levels, aging, and pricing to maximize inventory turn and profitability
- Oversee vehicle reconditioning and certification processes to ensure inventory meets dealership standards
- Execute strategic pricing and merchandising plans across all used inventory
- Monitor market conditions, wholesale opportunities, and competitive trends
- Approve trade evaluations and used vehicle sales transactions
- Coach and mentor Sales Representatives through daily performance management and ongoing training
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate on advertising and promotional initiatives to support dealership growth objectives

Compensation
- Base salary & bonus, with OTE of $125,000+
