Job Description The Events Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing brewery and restaurant events, including private functions, reservations, community gatherings, and promotional activities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating event logistics, managing bookings, liaising with clients, working closely with kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring smooth event setup and teardown. The Events Coordinator will create event timelines, maintain calendars, track budgets, and support marketing efforts to promote events and drive attendance. The role involves regular guest interaction, problem-solving during events, and contributing to memorable experiences that reflect Tool Shed Brewing Company's brand and values.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills to design and deliver successful brewery and restaurant events. Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to work with guests, vendors, and internal teams. Candidates should possess Sales skills to promote event packages, upsell offerings, and build repeat business. Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or brewery environments is essential. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Proficiency with event scheduling tools, basic office software, and social media platforms is an asset. Post-secondary education in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is an asset but not required.
