Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Mortgage Agent at Dominion Lending Centres Inc. The Mortgage Agent will support clients through the entire mortgage process, including assessing financing needs, gathering documentation, and recommending suitable mortgage products. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients via phone and online channels, submitting and tracking mortgage applications, and liaising with lenders to secure approvals and competitive terms. The Mortgage Agent will provide clear explanations of mortgage options, rates, and conditions, and will help clients understand their obligations and choices. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, staying current on mortgage regulations and lender policies, and contributing to business development through networking and client referrals. Qualifications Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including current regulations and market trends. Experience with Mortgage Servicing and client support throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Hands-on experience with Mortgages, including application, underwriting communication, and closing processes. Ability to support Mortgage Marketing activities, such as client outreach and promotion of mortgage solutions. Background in Mortgage Lending, working with multiple lenders and mortgage products. Relevant licensing or registration as required by provincial or territorial regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail when reviewing financial information. Comfort with remote work technologies, CRM systems, and digital document management. Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client files.
