About the role
Company Description CodeEye is transforming how modern organizations secure their applications by providing a unified application security ecosystem. Its IRIS (Integrated Risk Intelligence System) platform connects protection across the entire software lifecycle, from code to cloud to customer. IRIS, a Canadian built platform, consolidates traditionally siloed tools—such as PTaaS, ASPM, ASM, SAST/SCA, and ADR—into a single intelligent solution. This integrated approach delivers real-time visibility, contextual risk prioritization, and streamlined remediation, helping teams improve both security and speed. CodeEye enables organizations to stay continuously secure, audit-ready, and ahead of emerging risks while reducing operational complexity.
Role Description The Senior Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Canada, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, conducting product demonstrations, managing stakeholder relationships, and closing new business with enterprise and mid-market customers. The Senior Account Executive will collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to build targeted account plans, respond to RFPs, and drive adoption of the IRIS platform across key accounts. Day-to-day activities include pipeline management, forecasting, contract negotiation, and providing feedback on market trends and customer needs to inform product and go-to-market strategies. The role also involves representing CodeEye at industry events, educating clients on application security best practices, and ensuring a smooth handoff to post-sales teams for long-term customer success. Qualifications Proven experience in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity sales, including managing complex sales cycles, building account strategies, and consistently meeting or exceeding quotas. Strong skills in consultative selling, relationship building, and stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate value to both technical and business audiences. Familiarity with application security concepts and tools (e.g., DevSecOps, PTaaS, ASPM, ASM, SAST/SCA, ADR), or the ability and willingness to quickly learn technical products. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including confidence in leading product demos and engaging executive-level decision-makers. Ability to manage a structured sales process using CRM tools, maintain accurate forecasting, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Self-directed work style, strong organizational skills, and comfort in a hybrid environment with both in-office collaboration and remote work. Experience selling into enterprise or mid-market accounts in Canada or North America; prior work in cybersecurity or DevSecOps markets is an asset. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
