Sales Development Representative Hybrid/Remote | Full-Time Base Salary: $50,000- $65,000 + Commission Potential (uncapped)
iTacit is seeking an ambitious, curious and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with prospective customers, uncovering business challenges, and creating opportunities through qualification, relationship-building, and strategic prospecting. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in generating and qualifying pipelines for Account Executives & Managers. You will manage and qualify inbound demand while proactively identifying and engaging target accounts that align with iTacit's ideal customer profile. This includes following up on marketing inquiries, tradeshow and event attendees, partner referrals, strategic account lists, and outbound prospecting initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable in leveraging modern sales technologies, including CRM systems, LinkedIn, AI-assisted research tools, and sales engagement platforms.

Proactively identify and engage target accounts through events, account-based outreach, and strategic account development initiatives. Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges, and business objectives, organizational fit, buying readiness, and potential business impact. Engage with Operations, Safety, HR, Learning & Development, and frontline workforce leaders across a variety of industries. Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations while building strong working relationships with Account Executives, Account Managers and Sales Leadership. Nurture prospective customers that may not yet be sales-ready and maintain ongoing engagement. Research, build and maintain target account and contact lists to support revenue generation initiates. Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing and Revenue Leadership to improve prospecting effectiveness and conversion rates Maintain accurate CRM data, activity tracking, qualification outcomes, and pipeline information to support forecasting, reporting and revenue operations. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, customer challenges, and emerging technologies. Consistently meet or exceed activity, qualification, meeting generation, and pipeline contribution targets. Represent iTacit professionally and create a positive first impression throughout the buyer journey. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, inside sales, prospecting, or similar revenue focused role. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed activity, meeting, or pipeline generation targets. Highly coachable with a desire to continuously improve through feedback and performance metrics. Excellent listening, questioning, and relationship building abilities. Naturally curious with a desire to understand business challenges and identify opportunities. Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working toward measurable goals. Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple opportunities, follow-up activities, and prospecting initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or B2B software environment. Experience selling into enterprise organizations, regulated industries, or operational workforces. Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms. Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, prospecting tools, sales engagement platforms, and AI-assisted research tools. Understanding of today’s prospecting, lead qualification, and account-based selling approaches. Experience working with inbound demand generation programs and outbound prospecting motions. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
