Sales RepresentativeAbout Apex Trades Inc. For over 25 years, Apex Trades Inc. has been importing and distributing premium food products to supermarkets, grocery chains and independent retailers across Canada. We are looking for a motivated, energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to manage an established territory while continuing to grow our customer base. Important: This is an outside sales position. You will spend most of your workday visiting stores throughout your territory. This is NOT a work-from-home, inside sales, or phone sales position. Responsibilities Visit supermarkets and independent grocery stores throughout your assigned territory. Meet with store managers and department managers. Present promotions, flyers and new products. Take and submit customer orders using our online ordering system. Grow sales with existing customers. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Monitor pricing, shelf placement and inventory levels. Ensure products are properly merchandised and planograms are respected. Install promotional materials when required. Follow up on out-of-stock items. Work closely with our logistics team to resolve customer issues. Participate in sales blitzes, merchandising projects and promotional events. Complete visit reports, mileage reports and expense reports. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of sales experience (required) Fluent in both English and French (required) Valid driver's license (required) Reliable vehicle for daily travel (required) Comfortable working independently in the field Preferred Qualifications Food and Grocery industry experience What We're Looking For Self-motivated Strong organizational skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Customer-focused Results-driven Strong time management Problem-solving mindset Ability to build long-term customer relationships Working Conditions Full-time, Permanent Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Daily travel within assigned territory Compensation Sales commissions Two-tier commission program (existing customers + new business) Annual performance bonus Mileage reimbursement If you enjoy being on the road, meeting customers, growing sales and representing premium food brands, we'd love to hear from you.
