As we continue to grow our footprint, we are looking for an Assistant Key Account Manager to join our growing Canadian team to help support the growth of important key accounts. Working closely with the Key Account Manager, the main focus of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Account corporate team members. This role involves coordinating internal resources, selling to and in partnership with the Key Account Manager, assisting in sales planning, management of account needs and details to ensure smooth delivery to our customers. Our goal is to become the number one go-to leading soft toy brand for all ages globally. You will work incredibly closely and collaboratively with our Key Account Team as we embark on growing Jellycat. You'll be: Key Account Management Managing a portfolio of Key Accounts and serving as the first point of contact for sales-related conversations. Assisting with the development and execution of account plans and strategies for Key Accounts. Frequently visiting customers to ensure strong execution of brand guidelines and brand-appropriate merchandising. Managing order frequency, product availability, and curated assortments. Prospecting for new opportunities to enhance placement within the portfolio. Sales & Business Growth Driving business development and growth across the portfolio. Tracking sales targets and reporting on performance metrics. Delivering annual sales and profitability targets. Preparing presentations, proposals, and reports for client meetings. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication Liaising with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure client needs are met efficiently. Maintaining regular communication through weekly internal meetings, virtual meetings, and product reviews. Providing clear and regular updates to the internal team. Responding to all internal and external communications in a timely manner. Jellycat Brand & Ways of Working Adapting to the Jellycat way of working, including its tone and approach to communication. Taking ownership and working independently while remaining receptive to direction and collaboration. Fluent in English and French. Physical Requirements Traveling occasionally across Canada and to Minneapolis as needed to support key accounts, business needs, and team initiatives. You'll have: Fluency in English and French. 2–3 years of experience in sales or account management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels. An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. The ability to maximize sales through strong professional relationships while understanding and respecting business limitations and brand guidelines. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to both internal and external audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. A personable and positive mindset and approach. The ability to think creatively and outside the box when solving problems. An intuitive, imaginative, and open-minded approach. A willingness to share ideas and opinions with others. The ability to thrive in group settings and communicate effectively with others.
