OBJECTIVE Reporting to the Director, Inside Sales, the Inside Sales Representative will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while supporting the sales team and ensuring a smooth flow of day-to-day operations. In addition, the Inside Sales Representative will manage customer orders and inquiries, communicate order updates and changes, monitor product availability, and work closely with Sales, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Shipping/Receiving to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma Post-secondary education in a related field strongly preferred Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years of customer service experience; experience in Inside Sales or Order Management is strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills; working knowledge of Famous / EDI systems an asset Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and collaborate effectively with others Experience in the produce industry preferred PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and accurately enter customer sales orders into the system. Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external customer inquiries and requests. Communicate order status, changes, shortages and discrepancies to customers and relevant internal teams. Monitor inventory levels and product availability and coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Production and Logistics to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Proactively identify potential order, inventory or product availability issues and work with the appropriate departments to find solutions. Troubleshoot last-minute customer requests and order changes and coordinate with Production, Procurement, Logistics and Shipping/Receiving to minimize disruptions. Maintain accurate customer and order information within internal systems. Generate and review reports to analyze previous orders, identify shortages and support planning decisions. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and internal departments. Participate in weekend coverage on a rotational basis, as required. Requirements
