Quinn St, Prince George, BC V2N 2X4. This is a full-time permanent position. There will be required travel within the Prince George region. Why this role matters The Industrial Account Manager is responsible for proactively engaging with customers to deliver value-driven solutions in collaboration with key industrial supplier partners, with a primary focus on panel shops, engineers, electrical contractors, sawmills, pulpmills, mines and other end users. In addition, you will create and maintain positive customer relations by identifying opportunities, supporting customer needs, providing up-to-date product information, and identifying solutions to any issues. The Industrial Account Manager promotes and recommends the best product mix for customers by maintaining current industry knowledge and striving to meet or exceed organizational sales targets. What To Expect In The Role Customer relations. Having an approachable demeanour and a positive “customer first” attitude will help with this role as you will develop new and expand existing accounts. Solution-oriented. There will be times when our customers will challenge you with a request where you will need to think outside of the box and be solution-driven. Open communicator. Communication is key for this role, both verbal and written communication skills, to provide updates to our customers, such as new product updates. Time management. With the continued growth, you will be challenged in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Continuous learner. Previous industrial electrical experience is an asset, however, we will be providing regular product training to improve skills and knowledge. Driving sales. Analyze and utilize data for in-depth evaluation of accounts to recognize revenue opportunities and drive sales. You will be a presenter. There may be an opportunity where you will be required to lead presentations and meetings. Going above and beyond. There will be times when you are needed outside of the Branch office hours by telephone or email for networking and relationship-building activities. Some overnight travel may be required. Ideal candidate profile 3+ years of experience in the industrial electrical sales industry Previous outside sales experience Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and the ability to use and learn new software Valid driver's license Our Core Values: Celebrating the Past, Empowering the Future Teamwork l Integrity l Continuous Improvement l Resilience l Empowered We thank all applicants for their interest. Requirements
