Job details
Salary CA$110K - $150K per annum, plus commission (remote based role) / Role can be based in Canada or in the UK (role is working to Canadian time zones - Ontario) Could you restart the Canadian commercial engine for an established EdTech SaaS business? Our client provides an integrated school information platform and already has Canadian school customers, an established reference base and opportunities in the pipeline. CN Sales Recruitment has been retained to appoint a Sales Manager to build on those foundations and drive growth across Canadian independent schools, particularly in Ontario and British Columbia. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the market, win new customers and help shape a repeatable approach to sales. You will develop existing marketing qualified leads and pipeline while creating new opportunities through targeted outreach and referrals. Existing Canadian customers and reference opportunities will help you demonstrate the platform’s value as you guide schools through complex software decisions. Working closely with the Managing Director, marketing and specialist colleagues, you will bring structure and momentum to prospecting, stakeholder engagement and closing. Your contribution will extend beyond individual deals, helping establish the sales approach and commercial coordination needed to support further growth. You will bring at least three years of B2B software sales experience into the K-12 school vertical, with evidence of achieving targets through consultative selling. You should be comfortable creating your own pipeline and managing lengthy buying processes involving several stakeholders. Confident use of HubSpot, structured qualification and disciplined forecasting will help you maintain momentum and give the business clear visibility of progress. Experience selling school information systems or comparable software into education would be particularly valuable, as would knowledge of Canadian schools, although strong complex software sales experience is the essential foundation. You will join a collaborative team with an open culture, direct access to the Managing Director and opportunities to influence how the business sells. This is a full-time, remote role and candidates can be based either in Canada or the UK. If based in the UK you must be available to work to Canadian school working hours - Ontario UTC-5, with approximately two Canada trips each year currently envisaged. Collaboration with colleagues in Europe will be key to your ongoing success. Benefits include a CA $1,500 well-being budget and $1,500 personal development budget, alongside the potential to develop into broader sales leadership as the business grows.
