Job Description The Business Development Manager will identify new Market opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and position our manufacturing solutions as industry leaders. Role and responsibilities Market Expansion: Identify and prospect new clients in CMP Focus Markets and other emerging markets where CMP competencies and capabilities may offer market advantage (Warehouse Automation & Robotics, Energy Storage, Homeland Security & Screening, Transportation, Data Centers, etc.) Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire Business Development process, from initial outreach, Customer/ opportunity evaluation, request for proposal, management of quotation process, proposal preparation and presentation, negotiations and contract signing. Technical Analysis: Collaborate with the relevant CMP Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams to assess Project feasibility and develop and propose CMP specific solutions. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, market pricing, and the competition to adjust our strategies. Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at Customer meetings, industry conferences trade and networking events. All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or another applicable disciplines Minimum of 5+ years experience in a Manufacturing environment, preferably in Customer facing roles Demonstrated high level of emotional intelligence and developed inter-personal skills beneficial to a Business Development Manager role. Fluent in the French and English languages (Customers from the United States).
