Account Manager - Commercial Service Sales

Job summary

The Account Manager is responsible for business development, cold calling, and managing client relationships within the East GTA region. They will also prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for HVAC/R service projects.

Role Responsibilities * Drive business development within the East GTA region by identifying and developing new customer opportunities * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, using your technical HVAC/R knowledge to understand their needs and recommend solutions * Conduct outreach, including cold calling, networking and following up on leads to develop new business * Prepare estimates for HVAC/R service projects, contracts and parts, including materials, labour and equipment * Prepare and review quotations, specifications and contract requirements * Provide technical support and expertise to customers and internal teams * Stay current on technology, equipment and service methods within the Industrial HVAC/R industry * Manage multiple quotes and opportunities while meeting required deadlines * Participate in project kick-off meetings with Service, Project and Engineering teams following award * Act as a key point of contact for customers and provide ongoing support throughout the sales process Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications * 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence, or strong equivalent HVAC/R technician experience, is strongly preferred * Strong technical knowledge of commercial and/or industrial HVAC/R systems * Interested in transitioning technical HVAC/R experience into a business development-focused role * Sales, estimating, account management or customer-facing experience is an asset, but not required * Comfortable building relationships, speaking with customers and developing new business opportunities * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Self-driven, motivated and comfortable working in a team-based environment * Valid driver’s licence * Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
