Business Development Director Location: Guelph, Ontario, Canada. About the Role We are partnering with a growing healthcare communications organization that supports pharmaceutical companies through medical affairs initiatives, advisory boards, scientific communications, and medical education programs across a wide range of therapeutic areas. The organization is seeking a Business Development Director to expand its pharmaceutical client portfolio, develop strategic partnerships, and drive new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications Develop and grow relationships with pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations across Canada. Identify and secure new business opportunities related to medical affairs, advisory boards, medical education, and scientific communications. Demonstrated service selling, not product or widget sales. Comfortable selling a concept, not just a tangible deliverable. Ability to communicate effectively with scientific, medical, and commercial stakeholders. 3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience within pharma, healthcare, life sciences, or medical communications. Established relationships with pharmaceutical companies and industry decision-makers. Work Model Onsite daily for the first 2 to 3 months to learn the team and systems, transitioning to hybrid flexibility after that.

Requirements
