Business Development Representative Accounting Bridge | Remote – Lower Mainland, BC Full-Time | $60,000 base + performance based bonus About Accounting Bridge Accounting Bridge helps SMBs achieve financial clarity and profitability through accurate, monthly financial statements. We take the chaos out of the back office; covering bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, and Virtual CFO support, so business owners can focus on what matters most — growth. Our promise is simple: accurate work, delivered on time. About the Role As our BDR, you'll be the sole closer on the team — working a steady stream of leads provided by the business and converting them into long-term Accounting Bridge clients. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role where your job is to help SMB owners understand what's broken in their current financials and show them exactly what clean, current books unlock for their business. You'll own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed agreement, with a warm handoff to our onboarding and accounting team to ensure every new client starts on the right foot. This is a ground-floor opportunity — as the business grows, so does this role. What You'll Do - Work leads provided by the business and manage them through the full sales cycle to close - Run structured discovery calls to understand each prospect's business model, pain points, and current accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) - Clearly communicate Accounting Bridge's service packages, onboarding process, and guarantees - Follow up consistently and keep momentum through a short, consultative sales cycle - Coordinate a smooth handoff to the onboarding and accounting team post-close - Maintain accurate pipeline records and activity tracking in our CRM What You Bring - Proven experience in a target-based sales or relationship management environment - Strong consultative communication skills — you can lead a confident, trust-building conversation with a business owner - Disciplined follow-through: clean notes, timely follow-ups, and no leads falling through the cracks - A solutions mindset — you diagnose quickly and guide prospects to a clear next step - Background in financial services, accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is an asset but not required What Success Looks Like - High conversion rate on leads - Short, efficient sales cycles with minimal stall - Clients who arrive at onboarding informed, confident, and ready to engage Compensation & Work - $60,000 base salary + performance-based bonus structure - Fully remote — must be based in the Lower Mainland, BC How to Apply To be considered for this role, please submit a 60-second Loom video walking us through your resume — who you are, what you've sold, and why this role fits where you're headed. Please email your Loom video link to hr@accountingbridge.ca with subject line 'Business Development Representative – [Your Name]'. Important: Please note that applications without a Loom video will not be reviewed. We look forward to getting to know you better, and look forward to the opportunity of working together. - Team Accounting Bridge Accounting Bridge is an equal opportunity employer.
