Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Young Innovations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high value dental accounts, driving growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and strategic initiatives. Working in a fast-pace environment Who you’ll work with: This role reports to the Country Manager with a team of Strategic Account Managers What You’ll Do: Account Management Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with key distributor partners, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty Serve as the main point of contact for high-priority accounts, addressing their needs and concerns effectively Strategic Planning & Execution Develop customized account strategies to drive sales, identify growth opportunities, and improve overall account performance Work closely with distributors to understand their business needs and align our products and services to meet those needs Sales Growth & Retention Lead efforts to expand business with existing clients through upselling, cross selling, and identifying opportunities for new product introductions Ensure that clients achieve maximum value from our dental products and services, enhancing retention and satisfaction Client Consultation & Education Serve as a trusted advisor to dental practices, clinics, and other key accounts by providing expert guidance on dental products, industry trends, and best practices Collaboration with Internal Teams Partner with sales, marketing, customer service, and product development teams to ensure that client needs are met and exceeded Coordinate the execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and training initiatives Performance Analysis & Reporting Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports on sales growth, and strategic objectives. Use data to drive improvements and recommend solutions for distributor success Contract Negotiation & Renewals Manage contract negotiations and renewals for strategic accounts (mid size groups), ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring: Minimum grade 12 education. A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or a related role within the dental or healthcare industry Strong knowledge of dental products, services, and technologies, with the ability to provide expert advice to clients Demonstrated success in managing high value accounts and driving revenue growth Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build trust with senior level clients Strong problem solving abilities, with the capacity to proactively address client issues and provide solutions Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively Technical Skills Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite Compensation Range: $80,000 to $100,000 CAD plus bonus, car allowance, and expense account. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs. Work Environment Remote Environment This position is fully remote, meaning you will perform your work from a home office or another approved location rather than a traditional company office. As a remote team member, you will be expected to maintain a reliable internet connection, a productive and distraction-free work environment, and consistent availability during established business hours. Regular communication and collaboration will take place through virtual tools (e.g., video conferencing, messaging platforms, and email), and you will be responsible for staying engaged, meeting deadlines, and participating in team meetings and company initiatives. While the role offers flexibility and eliminates commuting, it also requires a high level of self-motivation, organization, and accountability to be successful.
