Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B clients in janitorial and medical supplies. This position involves building long-term relationships, understanding client operations and requirements, and presenting tailored product and supply-chain solutions. The Account Manager will handle day-to-day account activities, including responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery and service. They will monitor account performance, identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and support clients with product education and technical information. The role also includes maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, participating in sales planning, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that support the Whole-Chain model and sustainable practices. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in account management, client relationship development, or B2B sales, ideally within wholesale distribution, janitorial, or medical supplies. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including corporate, institutional, and government clients. Proficiency with CRM tools, order management systems, and basic data analysis to track performance, forecast demand, and maintain accurate account information. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced environment. Customer-centric mindset, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and customer service. Knowledge of supply-chain concepts, pricing structures, and contract management is an asset. Understanding of or interest in eco-conscious and sustainable business practices. Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
