Role Description The Territory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kamloops, BC, responsible for managing and growing a defined sales territory. This role includes developing strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their operational needs, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. The Territory Manager will conduct regular in-person visits, prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and follow up on opportunities to drive revenue growth. Day-to-day activities include territory planning, monitoring market trends, collaborating with internal teams on service and delivery, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools. The role also involves representing Vallen Canada at customer meetings, industry events, and occasional product demonstrations to support business development. Qualifications Strong sales, account management, and business development abilities, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships. Knowledge of industrial supplies, MRO, safety, janitorial, or welding products, or a strong interest in learning these product categories. Proficiency in territory planning, pipeline management, and the use of CRM and basic office software (e.g., MS Office). Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory for on-site customer visits. Previous experience in B2B sales or a customer-facing role within industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors is an asset. Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and training. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting sales targets and service expectations.
