Open Position Account Manager – Transportation Brokerage (3PL) Compensation: $50,000 - 70,000 + commission Location: Mississauga, ON Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our growing 3PL Transportation Brokerage team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced transportation sales professional who enjoys building new business, developing long-term customer relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of a fast-paced logistics organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business while delivering exceptional customer service and providing strategic solutions. This role offers excellent earning potential and a clear career path into sales leadership. Key Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and secure new transportation brokerage opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while consistently achieving new business objectives. Develop existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities to expand lanes, services, and transportation solutions. Prepare accurate and competitive transportation quotations and follow up to successfully close opportunities. Deliver logistics solutions from start to finish (full cycle). Build lasting relationships with customers through proactive communication and exceptional service. Provide operational support to ensure customer expectations are met and freight moves efficiently. Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to support customer requirements and service commitments. Negotiate transportation rates while maintaining profitable margins. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and pipeline updates within the CRM system. Monitor market conditions and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and remain competitive. Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of sales or logistics coordination experience within a 3PL, freight brokerage, or transportation environment. Proven success generating new business and consistently achieving sales targets. Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Strong customer service focus with a consultative sales approach. Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is considered an asset.
