The Role Joining Thrive’s Business Development team as a Business Development Strategist, you’ll turn promising conversations into strong client partnerships. You’ll develop inbound and outbound opportunities, uncover business needs, shape solutions with technical and service specialists, and guide qualified prospects from discovery through onboarding. As an individual contributor, you’ll have meaningful ownership of client relationships, sales processes, and how Thrive shows up for prospective clients. Your focus will of responsibilities will be: Domain: Guide qualified opportunities through onboarding while aligning client needs, technical expertise, accurate information, and efficient sales processes. Client: Build client confidence through consultative conversations, relevant digital advertising recommendations, clear expectations, and a seamless journey from discovery to onboarding. People: Strengthen team capability by exchanging sales knowledge, industry insights, and resources while coordinating cross-functional contributions to prospective client work. In your first 60 days, you’ll manage lower-complexity opportunities, guide client conversations, work with technical specialists, and maintain accurate sales information. In your first 90 days, you’ll own lower-to-medium complexity opportunities through onboarding, strengthen internal partnerships, and recommend improvements to sales processes. Qualifications You’ve worked in an agency or comparable client-services environment supporting both e-commerce and demand generation clients. You’ve sold digital advertising services, translating client needs into relevant performance marketing, creative, or measurement solutions. You’ve worked with brands operating across North America and international markets, adapting your approach to different business contexts. You’ve guided sales or client-growth opportunities through discovery, recommendations, proposals, presentations, and next-step decisions. You’ve developed opportunities through inbound inquiries, prospected and conducted outbound outreach, referrals, or growth conversations with existing clients.
