Role Description The Key Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Grand Rapids, MB, responsible for managing and growing strategic customer relationships. Day-to-day activities include overseeing key accounts, identifying opportunities for additional product and service offerings, and ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment. The role involves frequent customer meetings, preparing quotes, negotiating pricing within company guidelines, and coordinating with internal teams on inventory and delivery. The Key Account Manager will monitor account performance, address issues promptly, and develop account plans to support customer goals and drive revenue growth. This position also contributes to market intelligence by gathering customer feedback and reporting on competitor activity. Qualifications Strong account management and relationship-building skills, with experience supporting customers of varying sizes. Sales, negotiation, and business development skills focused on industrial or manufacturing products, tools, or supplies. Organizational, planning, and time-management skills to handle multiple key accounts and priorities effectively. Communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain product features and value in clear, professional terms. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret account data, identify trends, and propose appropriate solutions. Previous experience in B2B sales or account management; experience in industrial distribution or manufacturing is an asset. Comfort working on-site with customers and internal teams in Grand Rapids, MB, and willingness to travel locally as needed. Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and presentations). High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an advantage.
