The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Contact Centre team. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and revenue by converting active and qualified leads provided by the Scenic group, building and managing a personal client portfolio, and delivering exceptional service. You will play a key role in supporting the Canadian Sales team to convert market opportunities by identifying and upselling additional products to new and existing customers. Key Responsibilities: Manage stakeholder interactions across the following channels: Consumer Events Outbound calls Emails leads Web form submissions System-generated enquiries These interactions come from: Direct guests Internal teams; and Approved third parties Accurately identify travel requirements and offer tailored solutions that: Align with client needs Maximize company sales Generate accurate air/land quotations and booking confirmations in a timely manner. Close sales and secure bookings. Record all guest interactions with accuracy to support seamless follow-up and internal collaboration. Ensure consistent follow-up on leads and report on conversion outcomes. Submit timesheets and administrative documentation regularly and on time. Assist and educate guests, clients, and internal team members on product offerings and procedures. Follow internal system processes accurately and maintain quality assurance standards. · Contribute feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement. Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and company performance reviews. Attend and support consumer events and shows across Canada, as required. Requirements Essential Proven ability to qualify leads and close sales. Experience in a customer service or sales environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Active listening, empathy, and solution-based selling. Excellent time management and self-motivation. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Computer proficiency, particularly with CRM and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for consumer events. Desirable Certificate or diploma in tourism or hospitality. Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry. Demonstrated sales consultation and presentation skills. Work Schedule & Location Must be available to work shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST / 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. This position is open to applicants who are located and legally eligible to work in Canada. Candidates outside Vancouver’s Lower Mainland will work remotely. Candidates within proximity of Vancouver will work in a hybrid model (office and remote). Why Choose Scenic Group?
