As the Account Manager, you’ll be the bridge between prospective clients and long-term partnerships. We’re looking for someone who is energized by building relationships, solving problems, creating opportunities, and delivering remarkable client experiences. A strong understanding of the construction environment and established relationships within the equipment rental and construction sectors, particularly with mid-to-large-sized construction companies, will be key to your success. You’ll know how to connect with key decision makers, understand client needs, uncover opportunities, and build partnerships that create long-term value. You’ll work closely with our Operations, Training, Marketing, and Client Success teams to ensure every client experiences a smooth, professional journey that reflects our commitment to making workplaces safer. Your construction industry knowledge and existing relationships will be an important part of your ability to identify opportunities, understand client needs, and connect organizations with the right SafetyCo solutions. Operational Excellence Client information, CRM records, quotes, proposals, and onboarding activities are accurate, organized, and completed on time. Client Retention Clients continue partnering with SafetyCo because they receive exceptional service before, during, and after every engagement. What You’ll Do Client Experience Become the trusted point of contact for clients throughout their journey with SafetyCo Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests Coordinate onboarding for new clients, ensuring a seamless implementation experience Schedule discovery meetings and ensure all client requirements are completed Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders Resolve issues quickly while maintaining a positive client experience Business Development & Growth Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns Qualify opportunities and guide prospective clients toward the right solutions Prepare proposals, quotations, and service recommendations Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across SafetyCo’s full suite of services Re-engage dormant clients and support client retention initiatives Support revenue growth through exceptional relationship management rather than high-pressure sales Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate CRM records and client documentation Track client activity, sales opportunities, and follow-up tasks Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement Prepare reports and insights for leadership Continuously improve workflows, templates, and client processes Core Competencies Client Obsessed You genuinely care about creating exceptional experiences and building long-term relationships Growth Mindset You naturally recognize opportunities to create additional value for clients while contributing to business growth Communication You communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively with clients and teammates Ownership You take responsibility, follow through on commitments, and solve problems without waiting to be asked Organization You thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping projects moving and details under control Continuous Improvement You constantly look for better ways to improve processes, client experiences, and team performance What You Bring Required 3+ years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, customer success, project coordination, or account management Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills Experience working in equipment sales, equipment rental, construction sales, or a related construction-focused industry Strong existing relationships or industry connections within mid-to-large-sized construction companies, equipment rental companies, contractors, or other construction organizations Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience in health and safety, workforce training, education, or professional services Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot Experience selling products, services, training, or solutions to construction companies or equipment rental organizations Experience working directly with construction industry decision-makers, including owners, operations leaders, project managers, or health and safety leaders Compensation & Benefits Salary: $57,500 – $70,000 Health & Wellness We take care of our people, because you can’t look after others if you’re not looked after too.
