Our client, a fast-growing and innovative financial advisory firm, is looking for a Group Benefits Consultant to play a pivotal role in expanding their Group Benefits practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing business development, client advisory, and operational excellence while building a long-term career with a firm that values initiative, collaboration, and growth. What will you be doing? Drive the continued growth of the Group Benefits portfolio by identifying and executing new business opportunities through referrals, networking, existing client relationships, and marketing initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex group benefits matters, including plan design, renewals, pricing strategies, and cost optimization. Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, HR leaders, executive stakeholders, insurance carriers, and strategic partners. Lead annual renewal processes, including market reviews, pricing negotiations, client presentations, and implementation. Negotiate competitive pricing, renewal terms, and plan enhancements with insurance carriers to deliver the best value for clients. Stay informed on emerging industry trends, carrier offerings, and innovative benefits solutions to provide strategic recommendations. Collaborate with senior leadership on business growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, operational improvements, administrative hiring, and future expansion opportunities. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and achieving client retention goals. Ensure all client records, documentation, and communications are accurate, compliant, and maintained within Zoho CRM (AdvisorIQ). Continuously improve workflows, service standards, and operational efficiencies to enhance the client experience. Monitor key performance metrics, including revenue growth, profitability, retention, and client outcomes, and participate in monthly sales and performance review meetings using KPI dashboards. Support day-to-day servicing activities as needed while maintaining a proactive and client-focused approach. Must haves: Active Life & Accident/Sickness Insurance License (required). Minimum 3 years of progressive Group Benefits experience within a brokerage, insurance carrier, consulting, or advisory environment. Strong technical knowledge of Group benefits, Plan Design, Renewals and Negotiations. Experience managing client portfolios and executive-level relationships. Proficiency using CRM systems such as Zoho CRM, AdvisorIQ, Salesforce, or similar platforms. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements
