Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, ON, with flexibility for work from home. This role manages client accounts through structured systems designed to influence preference, capture demand, and drive measurable growth. Supported by the Managing Director, this role translates business objectives into structured social strategies, directing execution, and maintaining accountability to results. The role also involves managing budgets, coordinating social media content shoots with support from our creative team, and community management. Responsibilities include: Client Leadership Own client relationships and act as a senior advisor Lead meetings, present strategy, and guide decision-making Translate business goals into structured social systems that drive outcomes Pursue organic business growth by listening for cues and bringing new ideas to clients, with support and guidance from the Managing Director and senior Client Services team members Social Strategy Develop end-to-end social media strategy across organic and paid with support and guidance from the Managing Director Ensure strategies influence buying decisions, capture demand, and drive growth Define KPIs tied to business outcomes, not just engagement metrics Continuously evolve strategy based on performance and market dynamics Influence Preference Shape how brands are perceived within competitive markets Ensure content, creator, and storytelling strategies build relevance and differentiation Ensure all creative work is designed to shift preference, not just generate activity Capture Demand Plan how audience attention evolves into desired behaviors Collaborate on paid social, targeting, and funnel strategy Ensure content and campaigns align with conversion pathways, landing pages, and offers Improve efficiency of customer acquisition through structured demand capture Drive Measurable Growth Own performance accountability across accounts Analyze results and translate data into actionable insights Continuously test, learn, and refine our approach to improve results and get more value from our budget Clearly connect social performance to business impact in client reporting Align Creative Direction with Strategy Own content planning, from ideation to presentation, with the support of the creative and social strategy teams Work with internal teams to ensure content and campaigns align with strategy and standards Push for work that earns attention and drives action, not just fills calendars Team Collaboration and Leadership Work cross-functionally with creative, paid media, and strategy teams Ensure alignment across all workstreams Mentor junior team members and elevate overall output Social Media Management & Community Engagement Oversee community management and publishing across assigned brand accounts, ensuring interns and team members follow established processes and quality standards. Provide guidance, oversight, and support to interns managing day-to-day community management and publishing tasks. Conduct quality checks on all posts for accuracy, grammar, working links, and brand consistency. Monitor client social channels as needed, ensuring timely escalation of potential PR or reputation issues. Perform community management and publishing responsibilities directly on designated accounts, or provide coverage, when business needs require. Qualifications Experience in account management or client services within a marketing, social media, or digital agency environment. Strong skills in social media strategy, campaign planning, and performance reporting, with the ability to connect activity to business outcomes. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on collaborative, solutions-oriented client partnership. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders, with strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfort working with analytics and performance metrics; familiarity with social and ad platforms and common reporting tools is an asset. Knowledge of B2C and/or B2B marketing in sectors such as technology, CPG, retail, hospitality, or financial services is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, ON, including in-office collaboration as required. Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
