Our client, a leading provider of personalized care and support services for seniors, is looking for an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing referral partnerships, expanding community relationships, and connecting seniors and their families with appropriate care solutions. The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, proactive, compassionate, and results-oriented, with a genuine interest in helping others and building meaningful professional relationships. Key Responsibilities Establish and nurture strong connections with healthcare providers, community groups, senior-focused organizations, and other potential referral sources. Seek out new partnership opportunities and identify ways to expand the organization’s presence within the local community. Attend and participate in local networking events, community gatherings, presentations, and outreach initiatives. Promote awareness of the organization’s services by providing information and guidance to healthcare professionals, community partners, seniors, and their families. Build and manage a consistent pipeline of potential referrals through ongoing relationship development and timely follow-ups. Meet with prospective clients and their families to learn about their needs and help determine suitable care options. Maintain regular communication with prospects and referral partners throughout the engagement process. Work closely with internal teams to ensure new clients experience a seamless transition from initial consultation to service delivery. Keep CRM records and business development information organized and up to date, including contacts, referrals, and follow-up activities. Support the development and execution of initiatives designed to increase community awareness, referrals, and overall business growth. Qualifications Previous experience in business development, sales, healthcare, community relations, customer service, or care coordination is preferred. Background in establishing referral partnerships or developing professional networks is considered an asset. Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and interpersonal abilities. Comfortable approaching new contacts, starting conversations, and building professional connections. Highly motivated and capable of working independently while effectively managing multiple priorities. Comfortable meeting with seniors and their families and having thoughtful conversations about their care needs. Comfortable working with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, email, and other business technology. Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and a good driving record are required. Willing and able to travel locally for client meetings, community events, presentations, and networking activities.
