As we continue to grow our presence in Canada, we are looking for an ambitious and scientifically minded Account Manager to help develop the Ontario market and build long-term partnerships with customers across the life-sciences community. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining science, customer relationships and business development. As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of sales development within your territory, manage and grow existing accounts, identify new business opportunities and work closely with customers to understand their scientific needs. You will collaborate with Novogene’s technical and commercial teams to provide appropriate genomic and multi-omics solutions while building a strong and sustainable customer network across Ontario. Work Arrangement: Home-based / Remote Location: 1. Home-office from Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville or Waterloo or Hamilton 2. Quebec, Montreal Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and business-growth targets. Identify and develop new customers across universities, research institutes, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Manage and grow existing accounts while building long-term, trusted customer relationships. Develop new sales opportunities and manage them through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to quotation, negotiation and closure. Understand customer research needs and work with internal technical teams to recommend appropriate sequencing and multi-omics solutions. Maintain strong knowledge of Novogene’s products, services and relevant developments in genomics and life sciences. Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and business updates. Represent Novogene at scientific conferences, customer meetings and industry events. Travel within the territory as required. Qualifications Master’s degree or above in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or a related discipline; PhD preferred. Good understanding of next-generation sequencing and its applications. Previous commercial, sales or business-development experience within the life-sciences industry is preferred. Experience working with academic, biotechnology or pharmaceutical customers would be an advantage. Demonstrated ability to develop new customers and build long-term business relationships. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Commercially minded, proactive and results driven. Comfortable working independently in a remote, home-office environment. Requirements
