Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Timmins, ON. The Sales Representative will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients in target industries, and present safety product solutions that address customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing proposals and quotes, managing the sales pipeline, and following up on leads. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to provide feedback from the field, supporting product demonstrations and training sessions, and maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM or sales tracking systems. The Sales Representative is expected to represent Mine Safety Solutions professionally, meet sales targets, and contribute to the company’s mission of improving workplace safety. Qualifications Experience in business development and sales, preferably in safety products or industrial sectors such as mining, forestry, construction, manufacturing, or related industries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present product benefits clearly and build long-term client relationships. Ability to understand customer needs, translate them into practical solutions, and negotiate terms effectively. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including experience managing a sales pipeline, tracking activities, and meeting performance goals. Comfort working on-site and visiting client locations, with a commitment to health and safety practices. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or sales management tools. Self-motivated, results-oriented approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region as required. Previous experience in the Timmins, ON region or familiarity with local industries is an asset. Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is an asset but equivalent experience will be considered.
