Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Resource & Account Manager in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Position is available as remote, with required on-site meetings in downtown Calgary. Role Description The Senior Resource & Account Manager is responsible for managing key client relationships, leading technology recruitment, and supporting contractors throughout their assignments. This senior, client-facing role combines recruitment delivery, resource management, account growth, and team mentorship. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to clients and candidates, with the ability to understand business needs, deliver effective workforce solutions, and independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, hiring managers, candidates, and contractors. Understand client priorities, workforce plans, and technology resource requirements. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate presentation, negotiation, and placement. Develop qualified candidate pipelines for current and anticipated opportunities. Manage contractor onboarding, performance check-ins, contract extensions, rate discussions, and assignment transitions. Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve recruitment, contractor, or service-delivery concerns. Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and expand client relationships. Provide market insight regarding talent availability, compensation, and contractor rates. Maintain accurate information in the ATS/CRM and monitor recruitment and account activity. Mentor junior team members and contribute to recruiting, account, and business-development strategies. Required Skills and Experience Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility and success. 5+ years of experience in technology recruitment, staffing, resource management, account management, or professional services. Proven ability to manage client relationships and multiple recruitment assignments independently. Strong knowledge of sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, negotiation, and contractor management. Experience recruiting technology or other professional-services positions. Strong business acumen and an understanding of rates, margins, account growth, and client service. Excellent communication, relationship-management, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly organized, proactive, resilient, and accountable, with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated leadership ability and experience mentoring or supporting junior team members. Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, CRM, and recruiting platforms. A related post-secondary degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
